- 1973 MORGAN 36 OutIsland, 36' Water World. This boat was the original 36'
"Out Islander" designed by Charlie Morgan in the early 70's. It is a
center cockpit cruiser that draws under 4 feet and can take you places many sailboats
would not dare to go. She has a huge diesel engine, and all the bells and whistles
to make traveling and living aboard very comfortable. The center cockpit design
means that mom and dad can have a separate space from the kids - or perhaps company
- and everybody has their own head! Water World has had nearly $90,000
in additions and re-dos in recent years and, with a new set of sails, is ready
to take off on her next journey.
This boat must be seen to be appreciated! She has been lovingly cared for
and lived aboard for the past couple years. Bottom was done less than 2 years
ago; new engine and generator are worth half the price; new mast - plus there
is a huge refrigerator, Mermaid A/C system, one Vacu-flush head and one pump,
$15,000 worth of electronics... etc., etc. Simply too much to mention.
